IP RATINGS
The Ingress Protection or IP rating indicates the level of protection an enclosure
offers against solids and liquids, and is used by Lyyt to grade our LED Tape ranges
and help you to select the appropriate product for your installation.
This handy guide explains the difference between each rating, so you’ll be able to ensure optimal
performance and longevity in your speci昀椀c environment, whether it’s indoors, outdoors, or in very wet areas.
Please note: Once you cut IP-rated LED tape, it loses its rating unless properly sealed.
